Los Cabos Mexico In Mexico, on the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula, the municipality of exotic place Los Cabos is located and consists of four main areas:
Anahola Hawaii Anahola (population 1932) is one of the communities that make up the north shore of Kauai.
Recreational activities include golf, scuba diving, fishing, sailing, snorkeling, surfing and more. Anahola is home to the excellent exotic Anahola Beach Park, where the public is welcome. Anahola is just minutes from the Hanalei Bay and Princeville golf courses. Princeville is one of the most beautiful resort areas in all of the Hawaiian Islands. Sightseers can visit the Kilauea Lighthouse, Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge, and the Hanalei Valley Lookout. Anahola is situated just 15 miles away from the Lihue Airport and Nawiliwili Harbor, where most residents and visitors find transportation on and off the island. Easter Island - Chile It is one of the most isolated exotic islands in the world but 1200 years ago a double-hulled canoe filled with seafarers from a distant culture landed upon its shores. Over the centuries that followed a remarkable society developed in isolation on the island. For reasons still unknown they began carving giant statues out of volcanic rock. These monuments, known, as "moai" are some of the most incredible ancient relics ever discovered. The people of Easter Island called themselves the Rapa Nui. Where did they come from and why did they disappear? Science has learned much about the enigma of Easter Island and has put to rest some of the more bizarre theories, but questions and controversies remain.
Tahiti Tahiti cover over two million square miles of the South Pacific Ocean and is comprised of 118 islands spread over five great archipelagos. Many exotic islands are crowned with jagged peaks while others appear to barely float above the breaking waves. Spread over an area as large as Western Europe, the total land mass of all the islands adds up to an area only slightly larger than the tiny state of Rhode Island. The three archipelagos most sought by visitors are the Society Islands, comprised of Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora, Huahine, Raiatea and Taha'a; The Tuamotu Atolls or "Tahiti's Strand of Pearls", include the atolls of Rangiroa, Manihi, Tikehau and Fakarava; and the Marquesas, or "The Mysterious Islands." Kadavu Islands - Fiji The exotic island of Kadavu is situated approximately 90 kilometers south of the main island of Viti Levu and is Fiji's fourth largest. The island is 410 square kilometers in size, approximately 50 kilometers in length and width varies from a few hundred meters to 10 kilometers. The island is one of the most rugged areas of Fiji with a number of high mountains and few roads. The main way to get around Kadavu is by boat and small ferries. The Kadavu group also includes Ono Island, off the eastern tip of Kadavu, as well as a number of smaller islands.
The main attractions of Kadavu is its natural beauty and rugged landscape and so it is often considered an eco-tourist destination. The Kadavu region offers activities such as sea-kayaking, sport and game fishing, surfing (especially on the western end), bird-watching, trekking and Fiji cultural village trips. |
